The beach read you have been dying for! When ten of America’s hottest teenage influencers are invited to an exclusive island resort, matters are certain to receive wild. But homicide isn’t what anyone expected. Will anyone survive?

Everyone knows Unknown Island—it’s the world’s most exclusive destination. Think white sand beaches, turquoise seas, and luxury accommodations. Plus, it’s invite only, no one throughout twenty-one allowed, and it’s absolutely free. Who wouldn’t want to go?
After launching with a show-stopping viral marketing campaign, the whole world is watching as the mysterious resort opens its doors to the First Ten, the ten elite influencers specifically chosen to be the first to experience everything Unknown Island has to offer. You know them. There’s the gamer, the beauty blogger, the rich girl, the superstar, the junior politician, the environmentalist, the DJ, the CEO, the chef, and the athlete.
What they don’t know is that they weren’t invited to Unknown Island for their following—they were invited for their secrets. Everyone is hiding a deadly one, and it looks like someone’s decided it’s payback time. Unknown Island isn’t a vacation, it’s a trap. And it’s beginning to look like the First Ten—no matter how influential—are never coming home.

No one answered him as they were all absorbed by the screen. Below the picture of them was a post.
“The guests are here, let’s have some fun, counting backward ten to one,” Manny read out loud. “Their futures are bright, their pasts untold, thee cheers for never growing old.” He looked at the other. “What the hell is that supposed to intend?” he asked.

“Why are they posting captions in rhyming couplets?” Justice asked.

“Obviously, they’re trying to be disruptive,” Margot said. Bum her, Justice saw Graham roll his eyes and she felt a strange moment of kinship with this sweaty guy who seemed to be just as clueless as the rest of them.

“This isn’t disruptive,” Frankie said, “It’s dull (person). Captions mean nothing. The only people who read captions are doing it because they’re hoping you’ll say something wrong so they can tear you apart in the comments.”

“I’m with you,” Graham said. “Its unusual.”

The caption made Justice uneasy. It wasn’t just unusual, it was eerie, and on a whim, she stepped forward and tapped the scree. She could hear a few gasps behind her when it responded, and the picture blew up to fill the glass.

[….]

Justice flicked the screen with a fingertip, scrolling up, and the comments ran by. She stopped and read one at the top, which nailed it. Someone with the username Travelwh0re called out the exact reason Justice found the caption so unsetting: Unknown you’re tripping with this weirdness. Never growing old just sounds like they’re going to die.
